A benefit concert featuring Karol G, Maluma, Sebastián Yatra, and more raised nearly $3 million for communities affected by the August 10th earthquake in Colombia. “Colombia: Voces por la Vida,” held Sunday at Vive Claro Distrito Cultural in Bogotá, drew more than 32,500 people and featured performances from more than 30 artists, including Miguel Bosé, Greeicy, Eladio Carrión, Grupo Niche, Manuel Turizo, and Andrés Cepeda. Find Karol G Tickets Here Karol G, who released No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto two weeks ago, participated remotely from Los Angeles and donated $1 million through her Con Cora Foundation, accounting for a significant portion of the final total. “We love you with all our hearts, and we are here to tell you that we will lift Colombia back up together, whenever, however, and whatever it takes,” she said during the broadcast, as local news site Caracol reports. Corporate donations and contributions made directly to Presentes Corporación accounted for the remainder, with more than 43,000 transactions recorded across the different fundraising channels.
