CONVERGE Has So Many New Songs

Back in December 2024, Converge drummer Ben Koller revealed that the band had 27 songs in the works. Which didn't mean that all of them were gonna be recorded and make it to release – it's just that they had a lot of stuff they were working on.

"We have 27 Converge songs, 10 of them we consider 'done,'" wrote Koller on X at the time. "All leftover riffs will be auctioned off. We will tell you what they sound like e.g. 'Philly mosh' or 'Melvins Stoner Doom' but you can’t hear them. Kinda like a foreclosure where they don't let you see inside the house."

Well, as it turns out Converge is tracking quite a few of them. Koller just gave a brief update again on X, writing: "I have tracked 17 new Converge songs on drums and I'm not even done. This is insane."

So I guess get ready for a whole shit ton of new Converge coming your way, hopefully soon. In the meantime, Converge has the following live appearances all lined up for 2025.
