Countdown NYE to Return to San Bernardino for 2026 Edition

The aliens have shifted course back to their original home at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, with Countdown NYE returning for two days to celebrate New Year’s Eve in style.

The end of the year might feel pretty far away, but that hasn’t stopped Insomniac and the alien invaders from beginning their plans for their annual soiree at Countdown NYE. While the 2025 edition of the festival shifted to Downtown Los Angeles, the one slated to take place this winter will return to its original stomping grounds. That’s right — Countdown NYE is heading back to San Bernardino for another round of cosmic fun.

To the delight of dance music lovers planning to flock to the venue, Countdown NYE will expand back to two nights for the first time since 2023, with the festival now taking place on December 31 – January 1. This will provide a perfect way to close out the year and start the new one on the right foot with some wicked performances.

The NOS Events Center, a storied home for many of Insomniac’s beloved festivals, is set to play host this year once again, with the venue boasting five covered stages, carnival rides and other attractions, the infamous Redlight District, and more. Additionally, official, on-site after-parties are scheduled for both nights from 2am to 6am.

The lineup for this year’s edition is still a ways out from being announced, but if the past is any indication, you can expect an array of different genres represented at Countdown NYE. Artists who have taken the stage in recent years include Zeds Dead, Above & Beyond, Chris Lake, Eric Prydz, John Summit, Sub Focus, Alesso, Zedd, Madeon, Porter Robinson, Liquid Stranger, and Crankdat, among countless others.

GA, GA+, and VIP passes for Countdown NYE 2026 go on sale Thursday, April 30, at 12pm PT via Front Gate, with a limited-time $5 deposit option available for payment plans. Those who pre-register for the sale via the official website will gain access at 11am PT that day.
