Couple Gets Married in Middle of Circle Pit at Cannibal Corpse Show: Watch

A metal-loving couple got married in the middle of a circle pit during Cannibal Corpse’s show on Tuesday night (April 22nd) in Pittsburgh. The pair said their “I dos” while the death metal legends performed the song “Unleashing the Bloodthirsty.”

The bride, Erica, and groom, Chris, can be seen in video footage exchanging vows as fans are circling around them. Meanwhile, Cannibal Corpse are shredding away onstage.

Erica shared her joy on Facebook, writing, “Well we did it! Last night during the @cannibalcorpseofficial show in Pittsburgh we said our “I dos” in the mosh pit! A huge thank you to everyone knowingly and unknowingly helping to make this happen! There is no community more united than the metal community!! The amount of support and love was amazing!”

It’s probably the most extreme metal nuptials since Suffocation frontman Frank Mullen sang “Entrails of You” at his own wedding in 2019.

Cannibal Corpse are supporting Meshuggah on the latter’s headlining North American tour, which wraps up Thursday night (April 24th) in New York City. Looking ahead, Cannibal Corpse will play the Sonic Temple, Louder Than Life, and New England Metal & Hardcore festivals.
