Danielle Addresses Bunnies As MrBeast Entertains Pleas To Buy NewJeans

South Korean label ADOR and K-pop group NewJeans have been embroiled in a heated legal saga for over a year, and it took an unexpected turn last month when the label terminated and sued Danielle, one-fifth of the crew. The member addressed her fans (aka Bunnies) in a nine-minute livestream on Instagram and YouTube today.

"When I think of Bunnies, the first thing that comes to mind is your eyes — the way we locked eyes onstage, the feeling that our hearts stayed connected even when the music stopped," she said, according to the Korea Herald. "Those memories are what quietly hold me up now."

"Many things are still being sorted out, and when the time comes, I will update you all about what's happening, about the lawsuit and about all the things you're curious about," she continued.

"There is one thing I can say with clarity," she went on. "I fought until the very end to be together with the members and that truth stays with me. NewJeans will always be a part of my heart — each member, with sincerity. Though we'll be in different places from now on, I'll continue supporting them as one of the Bunnies."

Early last year, NewJeans changed their name to NJZ, debuted a new song, and announced a hiatus. Along with suing Danielle, ADOR are also suing one of Danielle's family members and the former label CEO Min Hee-jin, saying they "bear significant responsibility for precipitating this dispute and for NewJeans' departure and delayed return."

Fans have apparently been begging for help from MrBeast, who replied on Twitter, "What do I need to do?" He discussed the lawsuit with fellow streamer JasonTheWeen the following day. Surely something will come out of this.

Former NewJeans member Danielle appears to have opened a personal Instagram under the name "Dazzibelle." The account was created in September, which could indicate it was planned ahead of time. The account is followed by her sister. pic.twitter.com/Gkt5QMLx2j
