Dark Angel Announce First North American Tour in Over Three Decades

Dark Angel have announced a Fall 2025 North American tour — their first domestic outing in over three decades. It comes in support of their forthcoming comeback album, Extinction Level Event, due out sometime later this year.

The trek features a stacked support package including Sacred Reich and Vio-Lence on select dates, plus additional rotating support from Hirax, Midnight, Void, and Interceptor. Dates kick off September 5th in San Diego and run through October 16th in Los Angeles, with the route hitting Dallas, New York City, Toronto, Chicago, and Seattle along the way.

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale for select dates begins Wednesday (July 16th) at 10:00 a.m. local time using the code LIGHTS. General ticket sales start Friday (July 18th) at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.

The California thrash pioneers have dropped two singles from the Rob Shallcross-produced Extinction Level Event thus far, including the title track and “Circular Firing Squad.” The LP marks Dark Angel’s fifth studio full-length and first album since 1991’s Time Does Not Heal.

“Musically, lyrically, and vocally, I’m so stoked about this album,” said drummer Gene Hoglan in a press release. “I’m really excited about Dark Angel right now,” he added. “And everyone who’s heard the new album is losing their minds.”

The band’s current lineup features Hoglan alongside guitarist Eric Meyer, bassist Mike Gonzalez, vocalist Ron Rinehart, and their latest addition, guitarist Laura Christine.
