Day Trip Festival NorCal to Make Its Debut in the Fall

Cloonee, Gordo, Vintage Culture, Eli Brown, After Midnight, Wax Motif, and more are slated to perform at the debut edition of Day Trip Festival NorCal in October.

Day Trip has solidified its place as one of the premier house and techno brands in the Southern California scene over the years, yet the brand has continued to set its sights elsewhere to bring some dancefloor magic. New events from the brand keep popping up, and this fall, the crew will head just a few hours further up Interstate 5 from their usual stomping grounds and team up with NPU Live for the debut edition of Day Trip Festival NorCal.

Day Trip Festival NorCal is slated to take place at Discovery Meadows in San Jose on October 17-18, giving house and techno lovers in the region a weekend that’s sure to be filled with groove-laden sets. It wouldn’t be a proper debut without a lineup filled to the brim with acts to provide the soundtrack, and that’s just what they’ve curated with the lineup reveal that came alongside the announcement.

Headlining the festivities on Saturday are Gordo and Vintage Culture, who will be performing a back-to-back set. Eli Brown will take the sunset slot, while other artists slated to perform include Wax Motif, SCRIPT, JLITTLE, and Lefty. Then, the second day kicks into gear with early performances from Sage and Eve Lauren, which build into Fallon, After Midnight (Matroda x San Pacho), and a surprise guest. Cloonee will be closing out the debut edition in style with a set later that evening.

Details are limited on the overall experience, but with Day Trip at the helm, you can expect plenty of lush production elements, the brand’s signature fish bowls, and great vibes all around.
