Day Trip Reveals Schedule for Summer Series at LA State Historic Park

Joseph Capriati, ChaseWest, OMNOM, Westend, Justin Martin, Loco Dice, Armand Van Helden, and more will be performing at Day Trip In The Park this year.

Day Trip has sunk its teeth into the dance music scene in Los Angeles, and it clearly has no signs of letting go anytime soon. While the beloved brand’s festival in Long Beach each year draws thousands, it’s their annual summer series, Day Trip In The Park, that has helped keep energy levels high throughout the rest of the season.

This year, Day Trip in the Park will return from May 24 to September 27, taking over LA State Historic Park nearly every Sunday and providing top-tier artists to catch from state to finish. Headlining the opening party is none other than Joseph Capriati, who is sure to help kick the festivities off in style after throwing down a truly impressive set at Skyline Festival earlier this year. From there, it’s off to the races with even more talent.

ChaseWest is slated to perform a four-hour extended set on May 31 before the run of June shows consumes the City of Angels. Headliners throughout that month include LP Giobbi, Westend, Justin Martin, and Cassian, showcasing the range of house and techno styles that Day Trip has come to embrace over the years.

It’s right back into the thick of the action after the dust from Day Trip Festival settles a bit. July 5 brings Hayden James and GUDFELLA to the stage, while July 12 offers a headline performance from OMNOM, Marco Strous as a special guest, and Slamm coming in to heat things up early on. Day Trip continues that run the following month with CID and Tobehonest on August 16, Discip and Adam Sellouk on August 23, and Loco Dice and Archie Hamilton on August 30.

The final two weeks of Day Trip in the Park might just draw the biggest crowds yet. PIV will host a takeover on September 6, featuring sets from Gaskin, Prunk, Robbie Doherty, and Kellie Allen. Then, the season finale will help close everything down in style with a headline set from Armand Van Helden, along with James Poole, Adam Auburn, and Athena in support.
