Nashville electronic music festival Deep Tropics will bring a new experience to Music City with the debut of its spring edition on March 20-21.
A pivotal part of the Nashville electronic music landscape, Deep Tropics has provided cutting-edge, environmentally conscious events to the community since its launch in 2017. What started as a small niche gathering hosting 2,500 people has now blossomed into a buzzing festival drawing attendees from across the country.
Following a record-setting sold-out year, Deep Tropics has unveiled the next chapter of its legacy. The homegrown dance music event is serving up a new experience known as Deep Tropics Equinox slated to debut on March 20-21. Taking place Bicentennial Park Amphitheater, the fresh spring celebration expands the brand’s presence within the scene and its contributions to the Nashville community.
The forthcoming launch of Equinox remains true to the Deep Tropics brand, featuring a diverse array of artists over the two-day extravaganza. Friday, March 20, caters to bass heads with a headlining performance from Of The Trees. Support from Jade Cicada, Barclay Crenshaw, SHIMA, AYCH, and a drum and bass set from Ivy Lab will bring the heat to Music City.
Saturday’s selection of artists switches things up with the freshest sounds of house music. Nashville-born DJ it’s murph returns for a hometown throwdown along with beloved producer Claude VonStroke, Tinzo & Jojo, RaeCola, Hotboxx, and Only Juan.
Deep Tropics is known for its late-night parties, and Equinox looks to keep the tradition alive, hosting afterparties both nights at an undisclosed location. Friday’s talent, G Jones b2b Eprom, will scramble minds, while the infamous OG Green Velvet will command the space with a four-hour set on Saturday night.
Aiming to further embed itself as a catalyst for self-transformation, community building, and sustainability, Deep Tropics Equinox will continue the zero-waste mission of its predecessor. The intimate, community-driven retreat will allow creatives and fans to explore dance music in an intentionally curated space as they celebrate the season ahead.
Tickets for Deep Tropics Equinox go on sale Thursday, December 18, at 10am CT. Find additional information on the Deep Tropics website.
