DeftonesChino Moreno has told autograph hunters he’s “not signing shit no more” after signing multiple albums per person while out and about recently.

Per Consequence, frontman Moreno was the Dallas date of Deftones’ current North American on Saturday (March 15), when he was bombarded by a number of people wanting autographs.

The ‘Cherry Waves’ musician dutifully signed them and appeared to get irritated that people had bought along multiple records to be signed, likely to be sold later. Reports suggest one person had upwards of 10 Deftones albums, and Moreno politely signed them all.

A video shows him telling the crowd of autograph hounds to “go ahead and tell your friends I’m not doing this shit no more”.

“You guys go online in your little groups and shit, tell people I’m not signing shit no more,” he added. “I signed these right now, but let them know I’m not signing anything.”

The Dallas stop came amid Deftones’ current North American tour alongside The Mars Volta, who recently opened for the band with a set made up entirely of unreleased material.

The tour is set to wrap up in April, although the band recently announced a late-summer US run with IDLES and Phantogram that will kick off in August. Visit here to purchase tickets.

They also recently added three new European shows as part of their upcoming summer tour plans. The new dates follow the previously added massive summer gigs Deftones have announced back in December.

They will play at The Piece Hall in Halifax on June 24 as part of the historic venue’s summer concert series and are scheduled to play at the Eden Project in Cornwall on June 26 for the 2025 Eden Sessions. They also previously announced a big gig at Crystal Palace Park in London on June 29.

Deftones will also play a Saturday slot at Glastonbury Festival 2025, with other summer tour dates include Primavera Sound PortoRock Werchter and Roskilde. They will also return to the US for Louder Than Life Festival and Shaky Knees Festival.
