Depeche Mode’s M Concert Film to Stream on Netflix Beginning on January 9th

Depeche Mode: M, Depeche Mode’s new concert film depicting the group’s performances in Mexico City during their 2023 “Memento Mori World Tour,” will land on Netflix on Friday, January 9th.

The concert film and documentary, directed by Mexican filmmaker Fernando Frías, follows Depeche Mode as they bring their vast catalogue to Mexico City’s Foro Sol for three nights in September 2023. It examines the country’s cultural relationship with death and how those themes appear throughout Depeche Mode’s discography; the tour it depicts served as Depeche Mode’s first outing after the death of founding member Andy Fletcher, and the film includes interstitial footage of the city and its traditions around music and mortality.

Depeche Mode originally premiered M at Tribeca Film Festival in June 2025. In October, the group gave the film a theatrical release and offered a physical release of M’s companion live album, Memento Mori: Mexico City.
