After more than four weeks of bombshell testimony, disturbing revelations, and eye-opening confessions, the trial of Diddy is nearing its end and though some suspected that Diddy would take the stand in his defense, alas he is not.

According to Yahoo, the prosecution rested its case on Tuesday (June 24) following the three-day testimony of special agent with Homeland Security Investigations, Joseph Cerciello. Cerciello’s testimony comes after a slew of Diddy’s ex-assistants, ex-girlfriends, and ex-male escorts informed the 12-panel jury of their experiences with the “Bad Boy For Life” rapper and the impact those episodes had on their own lives. Heck, Kid Cudi’s testimony alone may be enough to put Diddy away for a long time, but his story wasn’t even the worst.

When given the chance to take the stand and speak on his own behalf and attempt to try to explain his side of the story, Diddy informed the court that he would not be doing that, thus leading to closing arguments this coming Thursday (June 26).

Yahoo reports:

After lead defense attorney Marc Agnifilo, told the court of its decision not to the defendant to the stand, Subramanian turned to Combs to ask how he was feeling.

“I am doing great, thank you, your honor,” Combs said, adding: “You are doing an excellent job.”

“Is it your decision not to testify?” Subramanian asked Combs.

“That is my decision, that is totally my decision,” Combs said, adding that he and his lawyers had discussed it thoroughly.

The decision comes after Special Agent Cerciello testified that Combs himself appeared in 50 “freak off” tapes that the DHS had recovered during their raids of Diddy’s properties (just 50??).

Now that closing arguments are a day away, it’s going to be left up to jury to decide whether or not Diddy is guilty on the five criminal counts he’s currently facing including one count of racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

Luckily for Diddy, he has one last wildcard to play: Trump. With rumors that Diddy will seek out Trump and basically beg him for a presidential pardon a la Kodak Black, Diddy could just be waiting for the verdict to be read before reaching out to the White House where we all know that everything is for sale, including pardons. With Diddy’s pockets being as deep as they are and Trump being the corrupt businessman that he is, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to one day learn that Diddy is being pardoned by a 34-count convicted felon and adjudicated rapist…for a price, of course. The man is selling green cards for $5 million to wealthy immigrants for Christ’s sake. What would a presidential pardon fetch on the open market these days for a well-known billionaire? We might just find out.
