Dijon Shares “Yamaha” Demos, Says His Favorite Album Of The Year Is Los Thuthanaka

Dijon had a huge 2025. He helped to shape major releases by Justin Bieber and Bon Iver, leading to a Grammy nomination for Producer Of The Year. He appeared in the year's most acclaimed movie, One Battle After Another. And his own album Baby was a sensation, carrying him to SNL and landing him on a bunch of year-end lists including our own. He's rounding out the year by sharing demos for "Yamaha," which cracked both our overall best songs list and our list of 2025's best pop tracks. The demos are available via an app called Samply; you can listen at the link without downloading the app.

Meanwhile, Dijon offered a message of gratitude on Twitter. In a since-deleted message, he wrote that, like Pitchfork, his #1 album of the year was the self-titled debut from Los Thuthanaka. Here's the text of his message:

poppin in to say thanks anyone who came to a show. Was nice to see people, typically it's pretty digital and
anonymous! I just a guy making shit, I do not write the reviews or lists but
gratitude abounds and flows can't wait to keep workin
Los thuthanaka was my fav 2 btw:)

Game recognize game! In a follow-up tweet, which is still there, Dijon linked to "Call Your Name w/ Shot By Dopefiend E DJ edit" from Edits, writing, "This what it’s about 2 me." It may have been the year of Dijon, but it really was the year of Chuquimamani-Condori too.
