In its classic unconventional fashion, Dirtybird has announced its very own contribution to the analog revolution in the form of a community-driven events series, Dirtybird Social Club.
Dirtybird has officially unveiled a brand new, community-driven event series in Dirtybird Social Club. The recent announcement outlines eight shows built around the idea that the best parts of being a member of the flock have always happened away from a screen. The concept spans pickleball, group runs, art shows, fitness classes, beach cleanups, bar trivia, and yoga — all carrying Dirtybird’s notable offbeat energy, which the label and events brand has been cultivating for over two decades in California’s Bay Area.
The series kicks off May 2 with a pickleball and padel session at Bay Padel in San Francisco. Back To Baysics, Dirtybird’s free annual day party at the Embarcadero Plaza (now in its third year), is slated for June 13. Other pop-up events include an Evening Run on May 6, an Open Decks and Art Gallery experience on May 15, and Outdoor Yoga at Baker Beach on July 11. The campaign visuals say it all. Dirtybird anchored the flyer in a MySpace UI, a deliberate callback to the BBQ-and-backyard era the whole Social Club concept is rooted in.
What ultimately distinguishes the new event series is its punchcard play. Spurring fan engagement, attendees can collect physical stamps at each Dirtybird Social Club event, and completed cards go into a drawing for a golden ticket to Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights. Now in its second edition, the festival is a three-day camping experience at Cook’s Valley Campground in Piercy, CA, running July 17-19. Think games, activities, and Dirtybird’s full roster in a redwood-adjacent setting. It’s a worthy enough prize to make you show up to a beach cleanup.
