Does ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4’ have local multiplayer?

7 hours ago 2

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is out now, and many fans of the classic are wondering if they can sit down with a family member or friend and play together on their couch. Well, unfortunately, we have good news!

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 does have local multiplayer across Trick Attack, Score Challenge, Combo Mambo, Combo Challenge, Graffiti, Horse, Tag and Hawk mode. Additionally, all of these modes can be played online, although Horse and Tag are exclusive to local multiplayer only.

All of these modes can be accessed easily from the game’s menu, allowing you to sit down with a friend and play together. Unfortunately, the career and goal structure of the main game can’t be played in co-op, so you will need to play that alone.

It is unlikely that local co-op will be expanded beyond these modes at any point. So, your only option is to hop into these modes with your friend. We may see an update, but it seems like additional content, maps, and challenges will be the priority if DLC or further updates are announced, as adjusting the game and its other systems to fit local co-op will require a lot of time and effort.

Thankfully, all the content and customisation items are usable in local co-op, so you can choose the riders and boards that you want to use.
