Drake played fans at Wireless Festival a brief snippet of his upcoming collab with Central Cee last night (July 13) – check out footage below.
Over the weekend, the Canadian rapper became the first artist to headline the festival for three nights with three different setlists. On Friday (July 11), he opened the mini-residency by celebrating R&B, bringing out Lauryn Hill, Mario, Bobby Valentino, Bryson Tiller, Giveon and PARTYNEXTDOOR, and followed that evening with ‘Drake & The Mandem’ on Saturday (July 12).
That night, he brought out a host of figures from the UK rap scene and told the Finsbury Park crowd London rappers were “the best lyricists in the world”.
“No disrespect to America, but nobody in the world can out-rap London rappers,” he said. “This is the highest level – this is what I aspire to be.” He was joined by special guests including J Hus, Skepta, Dave and Central Cee.

To kick of the third and final night on Sunday (July 13), Drake played fans a snippet of a new track with Central Cee, which is due out this Friday (July 18). It’s not yet clear if the collab will feature on Drake’s upcoming album ‘ICEMAN’.
It came amid a divisive performance from the ‘God’s Plan’ artist, with the set shorter than anticipated due to strict 9:30pm curfew.
He confirmed that he was working on a new solo album back in April, which he said at the time was “a slap”. While little else has been revealed about the album – including its release date – it will mark the rapper’s first solo record since 2023’s ‘For All The Dogs’.
He launched the ‘ICEMAN’ era with the surprise-release of new song, ‘What Did I Miss?’ earlier this month.
Elsewhere, Drake recently announced tour dates for the UK and Europe with PARTYNEXTDOOR to celebrate the release of their collaborative album ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U’, which was shared on Valentine’s Day via OVO Sound.
