Pasquale Rotella and Insomniac have officially announced that, for the first time in its history, EDC Las Vegas will expand to two weekends in 2027.
Dance music lovers from all over the world flocked to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway this past weekend to celebrate the 30th anniversary of EDC Las Vegas in style. Headliners were treated to another magical experience under the electric sky filled with stunning firework displays, drone shows, stages with booming beats, and other surprises in areas like Downtown EDC. Now, just days after the dust settled, Pasquale Rotella and Insomniac have revealed some exciting news for what’s to come next year.
In 2027, EDC Las Vegas will officially expand to two weekends for the first time in the festival’s history, giving a new meaning to the “dusk till dawn” ethos that it has embodied over the years. Mark your calendars for May 14-16 and May 21-23, 2027, as those are the dates for the festival itself. The Dusk Till Dawn Experience will take place over 12 full days from May 13-24, 2027. This news puts EDC Week at the center of it all, with “a lot planned for the week in between” that is set to be announced later.
Paired with this massive announcement is the news that there will be a reduced capacity at EDC Las Vegas across both weekends, giving headliners more room at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The lineup will be the same for both weekends, and Camp EDC and Hotel EDC will also be active during each. More details for those two lodging options will be unveiled soon.
Additionally, ticket prices will be more affordable than in previous years. GA passes start at $399 on Dusk (May 14-16) or Dawn (May 21-23) weekend, but those who choose to attend both can grab them together via the Dusk & Dawn pass for $599. The Early Owl Sale is set to kick off on Friday, May 22, so start planning now!
“I hope you can feel the excitement and see the vision for what Dusk Till Dawn will become,” said Pasquale Rotella on Instagram. “I can’t wait to share this experience with you under the electric sky.”
The shift from one weekend to two marks a major change for EDC Las Vegas. For years, questions loomed over whether this would happen, as other festivals such as Tomorrowland, Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Austin City Limits, and Electric Forest all expanded to two weekends at various times during their histories. EDC Las Vegas notably remained a single weekend throughout its three-decade run, bucking that trend until now.
GA, GA+, and VIP Passes for EDC Las Vegas 2027 go on sale Friday, May 22, at 12pm PT via Front Gate. Stay tuned for more news surrounding the upcoming edition!
