The new film from Emmy Award-winning director Steven Leckart features input from some of Eminem’s closest collaborators and most notorious fans, to give the audience unique insight into the song that changed fandom forever, and the entertainer behind it.

Among the other selections announced this week is the UK premiere of What is Feels Like For A Girl, inspired by Paris Lees' memoir, and C. Tangana's directorial debut La Guitarra Flamenca de Yerai Cortés, a documentary about the family of the flamenco guitarist. Other film premieres on the bill include the world premiere of Palestine Comedy Club, the UK premiere of Cielo, Tom Kingsley’s action-comedy Deep Cover, Love & Rage: Munroe Bergdorf and more.

The full screen programme will be presented across a number of strands: Official Competition, Heartwarmers, Visionaries, Shivers, Collisions, Short Films, and XR – which comprises a curated exhibition of immersive projects.

The closing night of SXSW London will also see the UK premiere of Mike Flanagan's new movie Life of Chuck, which will wrap up the screen programme on 7 June. The Tom Hiddleston and Chiwetel Ejiofor starring movie is basdon Stephen King's novella about three chapters in the life of an ordinary man named Charles Krantz.

“Putting together the first-ever programme of the SXSW London Screen Festival has been a dream," comments Anna Bogutskaya, Head of Screen for the festival. "We are excited to present bold new work from across the world, celebrating boundary-pushing films across documentary, animation and narrative filmmaking. Our programme is designed to ignite conversations, inspire new connections, and showcase and celebrate screen storytelling across film, TV and immersive.”
