End Of The Road Festival unveils cinema programme for 20th anniversary

The schedule has been arranged in partnership with Curzon, as well as a series of guest curators. Brooklyn-based music curator Margeaux Labat is set to offer her selection of 1970s American classics, stylised, arthouse films, and documentaries across the weekend.

On Friday, filmmaker Ben Wheatley and Andy Starke of Rook Films will present films that place the spotlight on the filmmaking community. Saturday will see a special screening of Rose of Nevada with a live score by The Cornish Sound Unit at the Big Top stage, while independent label Invada Records, founded by Portishead's Geoff Barrow, are set to show festival film premieres, live Q&A’s with musicians, directors and journalists that Invada has been involved with, and more.

Closing out the weekend on Sunday will be filmmaker Andrea Arnold (Bird, Fish Tank, Wasp), who is returning to the festival as a guest curator for the third year in a row and to take part in a Q&A session.

End of the Road's 20th anniversary edition sees a stacked line-up including Geese, Pulp, CMAT, Mac DeMarco, Super Furry Animals, Beverly Glenn-Copeland, Earl Sweatshirt & MIKE, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Ty Segall, Fat Dog, caroline, YHWH Nailgun, Just Mustard, james K, Kelly Lee Owens (DJ), Angine de Poitrine, Ratboys, Derya Yıldırım & Grup Şimşek, Factory Floor and more.
