Enterprise Earth is here to pay tribute to Behemoth's track "Slaves Shall Serve" from their Demigod record. It sticks fairly close to the original, but hot damn is heavy anyway. Also, shout out to Dementula for the awesome cover art.
"Behemoth has always been a massively influential band for us and was one of our first introductions into death metal and extreme music," wrote Enterprise Earth of the cover.
"Perhaps you can hear hints of Nergal in Travis’ voice or in some of our riffage. Therefore, we felt it would be appropriate and fun to pay homage to one of the all time metal greats by covering a song off of one of the most iconically intense records that features one of the most iconic vocal intros of all time. Now streaming everywhere."
Enterprise Earth has been pretty busy as of late and just independently released their new EP Descent Into Madness, which marked their first non-label release and introduced drummer Aron Hetsko. As for Demigod, it was released in 2004 and marked a turning point in Behemoth's evolution — from their early black metal roots into a precision-crafted, aggressive death metal powerhouse.
