Fire In The Mountains (FITM) is an immersive, open-air music and cultural gathering that merges heavy music with Indigenous cultural experiences and the natural wilderness bordering Glacier National Park—an area the Blackfeet Nation calls "The Backbone of the World."

As the only alcohol-free heavy music festival in North America, FITM is dedicated to confronting an urgent and deeply impactful issue across Indian Country: suicide. Beyond raising awareness, the festival actively supports suicide prevention initiatives and works to foster a community centered on healing, connection, and change.

Through music, art, and education — set within a remote wilderness environment — Fire In The Mountains has earned international recognition as one of the most original, meaningful, and talked-about heavy music festivals in North America.
