Yeahhh boyyy: Flavor Flav has once again signed on as an official Team USA sponsor and “hype man” for the 2026 Winter Olympics. This time around, the Public Enemy member will support the bobsled/skeleton team.
The news comes after Flavor Flav sped down the Utah Olympic Park track in a skeleton sled over the weekend, reaching 68 miles per hour. He also served as a bobsleigh passenger with Maroon 5. Check out the footage below.
“We are thrilled to welcome Flavor Flav as an official sponsor and hype man for USA Bobsled/Skeleton,” said USABS CEO Aron McGuire in a press release. “It’s clear he has a genuine passion for sports and an authentic love for the USA team. Flavor Flav embodies the same grit, dedication, and pride that define our athletes, and we’re excited to have him bring that excitement to our team and fans across the country.”
Flavor Flav added, “The partnership is a blessing. It’s cooler than Cool Runnings. It’s Coolest Runnings,” referencing the 1993 sports comedy about the Jamaican bobsleigh team.
Last summer, the rapper was a major supporter of Team USA at the Paris Olympics. In addition to signing a five-year sponsorship deal as the women’s national water polo team’s official hype man, he paid discus thrower Veronica Fraley’s rent and had a custom bronze clock made for US gymnast Jordan Chiles after she was stripped of her bronze medal.
