Geese Address The Psyop Allegations

After experiencing one of the most significant rock-band breakouts in recent memory over the past couple years, Geese are the subject of a new Rolling Stone cover story by esteemed journalist and friend of the site Simon Vozick-Levinson. You should read it, but I'm going to pass along a couple choice tidbits regarding the psyop allegations.One late-breaking storyline within Geese's ascension involves the participation of a marketing agency called Chaotic Good, whose employees bragged to Billboard about helping artists blow up by manufacturing buzz around them via fake social media accounts, a process they described as "trend simulation." This led Wired to publish a feature on promotional astroturfing headlined "The Fanfare Around the Band Geese Actually Was a Psyop." In the new story, Geese frontman Cameron Winter remarks on the sudden hubbub surrounding them last year.
