A massive statue of the late Ozzy Osbourne has been unveiled at France’s Hellfest. Sharon Osbourne shared video of the giant sculpture on her Instagram account hours before the four-day fest kicked off on Thursday, June 18th.
Along with the close-up footage of the impressive work of art, Sharon wrote, “I’m sorry I couldn’t be at Hellfest for the unveiling of Ozzy’s statue. Unfortunately I had an unexpected trip to the hospital earlier in the week. A big thank you Olivier Garnier, Ben Barbaud and everyone at Hellfest. Special thank you to @philippe_pasqua_officiel for the absolutely stunning statue!”

As Sharon mentioned, the statue was created by French contemporary artist Philippe Pasqua. It stands at approximately 20 feet tall and weighs roughly 11,000 pounds (or 16,000 pounds with its base).
The Ozzy statue follows in the footsteps of a colossal Lemmy Kilmister statue, which has become a permanent fixture at the metal festival since debuting there in 2022. The Ozzy statue will also appear at the fest every year moving forward.
It was first announced that the Ozzy statue would make its debut at this year’s Hellfest back in March. The 2026 headliners include Iron Maiden, Limp Bizkit, The Offspring, and Bring Me the Horizon.
