As the crowd poured onto the lush lawns of The Momentary, it was clear that people were more than a little excited to see GloRilla. Glo has been making waves everywhere from awards shows to the top of the charts. And now, she was bringing her 901 flair to Arkansas for Live on the Green, a concert series set in Bentonville, Ark. 's Crystal Bridges Museum of Art. Soon, Alabama Shakes, Japanese Breakfast, and Ziggy Marley & Burning Spear will also perform at Live on the Green. But for the moment, it was GloRilla’s time. And she made the most of it.
By the time sunset rolled around, the crowd was already amped up, thanks to a strong opening performance from Babee Dee Hollywood . It wasn’t very long before the crowd began to chant her name in heavy anticipation, so when the light finally dimmed, everyone was more than ready for the show ahead. To anyone who’s never seen GloRilla perform live, there’s at least one constant for all of her shows: a beaming smile. The Memphis princess couldn’t contain her excitement about the energy of the crowd. “I don’t get booked in Arkansas a lot but every time I come out here, y’all show me so much love,” she told the crowd, with her Memphis drawl only enhancing the genuine affection.
As Glo and her dancers took the stage, the screen behind them displayed flashing crosses, a nod to her recent Best Gospel/Inspirational Award win at last week’s BET Awards and her gospel background. She opened the show with a throwback – “Blessed”, a song dating back to 2022 when she had just released her debut EP, Anyways, Life’s Great. Three years later, Glo has racked up Grammy nominations, chart-topping singles, and plenty of summer anthems.

The night almost seemed like a duet between GloRilla and the crowd, with her catchy lines and bass-ridden beats inspiring everyone to sing along. Even her dancers were moving with incredible levels of energy, with their synchronized splits being as electric as they were technically impressive. Every single song had people chanting along as loud as they could.
Glo performed several fan favorites like “Yeah, Glo!”, “F.N.F.”, and “Tomorrow 2” and the audience was loving every second of it. She made sure to keep the crowd engaged the whole time. From her call-and-response interactions to her jovial body roll during, it was easy to keep the attention on Glo as her bright white Adidas tracksuit lit up the stage. In true concert fashion, thousands of cell-phone lights illuminated the crowd as Glo looked back at the audience with nothing but gratitude and excitement. Glo was preaching the word, the crowd — the congregation — kept calling on her to preach.
People from all over the south came to see her perform the songs that have taken over the internet for the past few years, and yes — she did everyone’s favorite TikTok dances. She never failed to show the crowd how appreciative she was for welcoming her with open arms, so closing the show was bittersweet. As her new song “Typa” echoed throughout the grounds, Glo had a few more words to share with fans who showed up as much as she showed out.
“Y’all made me have such a great time and enjoy myself,” she said, giving props to her worthy collaborators. “I hope I did the same for y’all.”
