Goose played a surprise set at a house party at University of Colorado in Boulder on Wednesday night, serving as an unofficial kickoff show for their five upcoming Colorado concerts. The free house show was originally a college party set to be headlined by local band Sunkissd, who performed as scheduled; afterwards, however, Goose took the stage and treated attendees to a surprise seven-song set. They had more songs planned, but unfortunately, the Boulder Police Department had other ideas. During their rendition of “Animal,” a song from their 2025 album Everything Must Go, a police officer took the stage and stood rather helplessly next to the band. At one point, frontman Rick Mitarotonda waved his finger at the cop, as if to say, “One second, we’re almost done.” Apparently, what started as one cop became 10, and the show was effectively shut down shortly after.
