Goose have surprise-released their new album, Chain Yer Dragon, the jam band’s second full-length of 2025. Stream it via Apple Music or Spotify below.
Coming just four months after their most recent LP, Everything Must Go, the 12-track project features fan favorites like “Factory Fiction” alongside live staples “Echo of a Rose,” “Empress of Organos,” and “Rockdale.” Chain Yer Dragon also includes brand new songs like “Madalena” and “Royal.”
“There’s a world-building component that feels like the driving force of this record,” lead singer and guitarist Rick Mitarotonda explained in a statement. “Many of these character-driven songs come from a time and place where we were finding our voice musically, and it’s been so gratifying to not only revisit it through the lens of who and where we are now, but to expand on it. These songs have been on a journey, and it feels right for them to finally have a home now.”
Shortly after the album’s release, Goose premiered lead single “Madalena” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Check out the performance below.
Goose are set to resume their expansive live touring schedule at Park City Song Summit this weekend, with a mix of upcoming festival appearances, headlining dates, and their annual Goosemas celebration in December. See the full schedule below, and get tickets here.
