Gretel returns with new single, "Unbloom"

“Unbloom is about challenging heavy feelings by embracing them. It’s about letting yourself succumb and unfurl, just to see what’s left at your core. This was always my favourite song, but admittedly it wasn’t meant to make the record because my team didn’t dig the demo! But in fluke conditions, my band convinced me to record it in between recording other songs at RAK. We got the whole thing in about 10 mins, which was amazing considering I hadn’t taught the band the song before that! It was very spur of the moment. Felt like magic!!”

Gretel will be celebrating the release of "Unbloom" with a string of underplay shows, which kicked off at The Waiting Room, with further shows at Next Door Records and The George Tavern to follow in October.
