GRiZ Announces Long-Awaited Return to Red Rocks

GRiZ is set to bring his funky sound straight to Red Rocks this September as the beloved artist returns to the iconic venue for his first performances there in five years.

Saxophone-wielding artist GRiZ was at the top of his game when he decided to take a hiatus just a few short years ago, but now that he’s back, it’s clear that he hasn’t missed a step. The funky bass producer has returned in full force, taking the stage at festivals from coast to coast while curating his very own experience, Seven Stars Festival. He also just dropped his latest album, Future Funk Volume 1. Yet one thing has been missing for GRiZ fans in Colorado: an appearance at Red Rocks.

That will change toward the end of the summer, as GRiZ announced he’s set to return to the iconic venue for the first time in five years. Mark your calendars for September 2-3, because those are the dates when he’ll perform for the first time in the region since coming back from his hiatus.

Details are limited on what fans can expect when making the trek to Red Rocks to catch GRiZ, but what’s out there is already starting to turn heads. The first night will see him and his trusty saxophone take the stage for a headline performance along with a Chasing The Golden Hour set, while the second night offers two sets from the man himself. The support lineup for both nights is yet to be revealed, but you can anticipate curated bass acts taking the stage to help set the mood.

GRiZ continues to embody the “Show Love, Spread Love” ethos, and because of this, he has been heavily involved in philanthropic efforts. The Red Rocks show will continue that trend, with $1 from every ticket sold being donated to the GRiZ Charity Network, which supports music education initiatives, harm reduction programs, and community-focused charitable efforts.
