GUNS N' ROSES Parts Ways With Longtime Drummer FRANK FERRER

4 hours ago 6

Guns N' Roses has parted ways with longtime drummer Frank Ferrer. Ferrer joined in 2006 and replaced then-drummer Bryan Mantia, who you know from Primus. No word on who Guns N' Roses has joining in Ferrer's place, but maybe it'll be either Steven Adler or Matt Sorum?

"Guns N' Roses announce the amicable exit of Frank Ferrer, the longest-serving drummer in their storied run. The band thanks Frank for his friendship, creativity, and sturdy presence over the past 19 years, and they wish him success in the next chapter of his musical journey," wrote Guns N' Roses.

"Frank first joined GNR during a show in June 2006 helping anchor the rhythm section during subsequent tours, including their recent outings featuring the reunited trio of Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan. His last show with the band took place November 5, 2023 in Mexico."

Guns N' Roses next show is slated for May 1 at Songdo Moonlight Park in Incheon, South Korea. So I'd imagine we'll know more by the time that show rolls around.
