HAIM Bring “Down to be wrong” to Kimmel: Watch

HAIM stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, October 14th to perform “Down to be wrong,” a standout track from their 2025 album I quit.

Unlike their performance of the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in June, the trio opted for a more abridged version of “Down to be wrong” this time (the radio edit, if you will). The performance began with Alana Haim on bongos and Este and Danielle playing quick but subdued; soon, though, they were firing on all cylinders, with Danielle launching into a crystal clear belt during each chorus and executing a soulful, impressive guitar solo during the bridge. Watch HAIM’s performance of “Down to be wrong” below.

HAIM have just concluded the North American leg of their “I quit tour,” and they’re about to head abroad for the UK leg of the run. They’re also gearing up to release a deluxe version of I quit on Friday, October 17th, which will include their new single, “Tie you down” featuring Bon Iver. The deluxe edition will also add new songs “The story of us” and “Even the bad times” to the tracklist.

Revisit our review of I quit, which we described as a memorable fusion of the band’s past and present.
