Halestorm Debut Five Songs from Upcoming Album at Welcome to Rockville: Video + Setlist

Halestorm gave their forthcoming album Everest a major preview during their set at Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, Florida, this past Thursday (May 15th), debuting five new songs from the LP that is set to arrive on August 8th.

Lzzy Hale and company appropriately kicked off the performance with the opening track from the new album, “Fallen Star,” with the first half of the set featuring multiple live debuts: “WATCH OUT!,” lead single “Darkness Always Wins” (first time with a full band), and the power ballad “Rain Your Blood on Me,” which saw Hale ditching her guitar for an intense vocal performance.

Halestorm also hit some highlights from their back catalog such as “Mz. Hyde,” “Freak Like Me,” “I Miss the Misery,” and “Love Bites (So Do I)” — giving fans some more recognizable material for the set’s latter half before closing with “Everest,” the title track from the forthcoming album.

The performances of the new songs at Welcome to Rockville were the first of many, as Halestorm have one of the busiest 2025 tour itineraries of any major rock band. They’ll be bouncing between runs with the likes of Iron Maiden and Volbeat, plus their own headlining dates, for the remainder of the year. Get tickets here.
