Hulu has released the full trailer for its upcoming King of the Hill revival, offering an extended look at the now-retired Hank and Peggy as they struggle to adapt to modern life in Arlen, Texas. Watch it below.

Whether it’s learning how to use Zoom, complaining about fruitier beer, or figuring out what to cook for Bobby’s vegan girlfriend, Hank and Peggy’s adjustment to more free time isn’t exactly smooth.

“The thing they don’t tell you about retirement is there’s so much time to fill,” Hank tells Peggy. “Honey, you do not need to get up at the crack of dawn every morning,” she responds. “Peggy, I didn’t retire to sleep my life away like some nepo baby.”

Here’s the official logline for Season 14: “After years working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg, Hank and Peggy Hill return to a changed Arlen, Texas to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill. Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph, and Chane.”

The majority of the beloved animated show’s voice cast is reprising their roles, including series creator Mike Judge as Hank Hill and Jeff Boomhauer, Kathy Najimy as Peggy, Pamela Adlon as Bobby, and Stephen Root as Bill Dauterive.

The late Johnny Hardwick recorded six episodes as Dale Gribble, with Toby Huss taking over for the remainder of the season. Meanwhile, comedian and actor Ronny Chieng has joined the cast, stepping in for Huss as Hank’s neighbor Kahn Souphanousinphone.

In another tragic loss, Jonathan Joss, the voice of John Redcorn, was recently shot and killed by his neighbor in an apparent hate crime. Joss had recorded lines for four episodes.

All 10 episodes of King of the Hill Season 14 will premiere on August 4th on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+, where you can also stream the previous 13 seasons.
