HE.SHE.THEY. Embarks on East Asian Pride Month Tour

The HE.SHE.THEY Asia Tour is the LGBTQ+ outfit’s biggest to date, and it kicked off with the largest-ever Pride event in Nepal.

HE.SHE.THEY has cemented itself as one of the world’s most prominent LGBTQ+ nightlife brands, and it’s still reaching new milestones by the day. The collective has announced a Pride Month tour across East Asia, showing it still has ground to cover in its quest to promote inclusivity on a global scale.

The HE.SHE.THEY. Asia Tour started with the outfit’s first-ever gathering at LOD – Lord of the Drinks in Kathmandu on Saturday, June 13, which was also hailed as the biggest Pride event in Nepal‘s history. Tomorrow, June 18, the run of dates continues with the promoter’s debut event at Illuzion Phuket.

After that, HE.SHE.THEY. takes its talents to Singapore for a party at the revered club MDLR on Friday, June 19. The tour rounds out with a gathering at Boomerang in Hong Kong on Sunday, June 28.

Altogether, the HE.SHE.THEY. Asia Tour consists of four dates. The first three are headlined by UK “electro-cunt-punk” artist Bimini, and the bill for the final event will be topped by Seoul talent Ligrye.

“Touring HE.SHE.THEY across Asia is wild,” said Bimini of the run of dates. “Queer joy is contraband in some of these rooms and we’re bringing it anyway, on a soundsystem. I’ll be packing one tank top, three pairs of fishnets, and absolutely no chill. See you in Nepal, Thailand and Singapore!”

In a joint statement, HE.SHE.THEY. cofounders Steven Braines and Sophia Kearney said: “Boomerang and Illuzion are two of the world’s most sought-after clubs, so that’s two big bucket-list moments we’ve wanted for years. Singapore is going to be so much fun, with two iconic collectives in FOMOHOMO and Club Mismatch as the perfect partners out there.”
