Deftones have shared the second single from their anticipated new album private music, which arrives in just two weeks. Like lead single “my mind is a mountain,” new single “milk of the madonna” finds the band embracing the heavy-yet-hazy sounds of classic Deftones while also capturing the urgency of a current rock scene that’s very influenced by this band. It’s another very promising taste of this LP, as you can hear for yourself below.
Deftones also have upcoming tour dates, including opening slots on System Of A Down’s two Toronto shows, and they’re throwing their annual Dia De Los Deftones festival in San Diego on November 1 with Clipse, Deafheaven, 2hollis, Rico Nasty, Glare, and more. All dates are listed below.
