What is the plot of The Divorce Insurance?
Billed as a romantic comedy, The Divorce Insurance centres on an insurance expert named Noh Ki-jun, who wishes to create a type of insurance for divorcees. He was inspired after being left penniless following three separate divorces.
He’s become determined to devise an insurance product to bolster those who are in similar situations. As he and his team work together to devise the product, they slowly learn about the complexities of love and relationships in the process.
Who is in the cast of the new Prime Video series?
Lee Dong-wook will lead the series as Noh Ki-jun. Meanwhile, Queen of Tears‘ Lee Joo-bin has been cast as Kang Han-deul, a member of Ki-jun’s team who personally filed for divorce after being in an abusive home with her in-laws for five years.
They will be joined by Running Man star Lee Kwang-soo and actress Lee Da-hee. The Divorce Insurance is helmed by Killing Romance director Lee Won-seok, while Lee Tae-yoon of Secret Royal Inspector & Joy fame is credited as the show’s screenwriter.
