Hillsboro detail new EP this is me if i was you

Nima Walker (vocals, guitar), Dexter Hodgins (violin), Sam Wells (guitar), Oliver Hollingshead (drums), and Layten Kramer (bass) recorded the EP at The Hive in Victoria, BC with producer Colin Stewart. The five-piece said they drew on emo, alt rock, lo-fi folk, and electronic music, and channeled the energy of their live shows and their friendship. Lyrical themes include the decay of relationships, grief, and building something positive from what you're left with. Of the lead single, Nima Walker said “My God” is about “being in a vulnerable state at the end of a relationship, where you’re sort of quietly bewildered by what you’ve just been through, and you feel willing to destroy whatever is necessary to make space for a new way of being.” Hillsboro debuted in 2020 with the five-track EP Car Sex before their self-titled debut album arrived in autumn 2023. Earlier this year they put out the mini album A Party in Your Name. In March the band head to New York for the first time to play New Colossus Festival. this is me if i was you artwork this is me if i was you tracklist “My God”“Don’t (wait)”“The sky reminds me of you now, pt. 2 (feat. mieke?)”
