Punk-rap duo Ho99o9 have shared new single “Incline” (ft. Nova Twins, Pink Siifu, and Yung Skrrt, produced by Dave Sitek) from their upcoming album Tomorrow We Escape, and in addition to the three guests on this new song, they also revealed that the album will feature Chelsea Wolfe, longtime/former Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato, and MoRuf. Along with the news, we’ve also launched an exclusive “laguna blue” vinyl variant of the album, limited to 200. Pre-order yours now in the BV shop.
“Incline” is a biting hip hop song with a jagged rock edge, and it follows the nu metal-leaning lead single “Upside Down.” About the album, the duo says, “It was a healthy challenge to focus on emotion. In the past, a lot of our material was politically charged. That element is present to a degree, but we wanted to take a more personal route. This mindset drove how we wrote songs. Everybody has a struggle. The goal is to find motivation for preservation.” Check out both singles, the newly-revealed tracklist, and a mock-up of our exclusive vinyl variant below.
Ho99o9 are also touring Australia with the Dimitri Minakakis-fronted iteration of The Dillinger Escape Plan this month, followed by an appearance at New York’s Basilica Soundscape in September, alongside Deafheaven, Fcukers, billy woods, Maria Somerville, and more.
