One of the main issues players have run into early on in Arc Raiders is stash space. You get very little of it by default and there are limited ways to actually expand your stash and some of those aren’t available for several weeks.
Here are the key ways to upgrade your stash and the actions you can take now to give yourself more space.
- Choose to expand the stash from the inventory menu
- Complete a Project and finalise it between December 15, 2025 – December 20, 2025 (character reset)
These are the two main ways to expand your stash currently. The former can be done by clicking the “Expand” option in the menu and paying a set amount of Coins. The first expansion boosts your stash by 24 slots, and costs 5,000 Coins, which can take a long time to earn. Quests and bringing back Valuable items from Topside can allow you to rack up coins fairly quickly. You can also sell gear you don’t need.
Further expansions boost your stash even further, but the Coins needed to buy the expansions increase each time, up to a maximum of 280 Stash slots.
The second way to increase your Stash is to complete a project and then during the Expedition window from December 15, 2025 – December 20, 2025, finalise it. This will allow you to increase your Stash size during the next Expedition Project, but doing this will also wipe your character and reset your skill points, inventory, stash, and resources.
However, this seems like the only long-time way of consistently boosting your stash amount, which will be vital as more Arcs are added to the game and new maps with new loot and secrets are released. Projects unlock at level 20.
