Illenium has announced six shows at the Las Vegas Sphere to support his upcoming album, ODYSSEY.
Illenium recently started promoting something called ODYSSEY involving the Sphere in theatrical fashion, and now fans have gotten to learn what all the fuss is about. It’s the title of his upcoming album, it turns out, and he’s supporting it with a six-night run of shows at the immersive Las Vegas venue.
No release date or tracklist for the effort has been made public at the time of writing, but Illenium (real name Nicholas Miller) will perform at the Sphere on March 5-7 and 12-14. Aiding in the endeavor is Berlin animation studio Woodblock, who will lend its expertise will help him make the most of what the Sphere touts as the highest-resolution LED display in the world.
To give fans an idea what to expect from ODYSSEY, Miller has dropped a new single titled “Forever” featuring Tom Grennan and Alna. In true Illenium fashion, it combines anthemic vocals, rich instrumentals, and lush, layered pads to create a mainstage-ready whole greater than the sum of its parts.
“ODYSSEY is a journey of self discovery and acceptance,” Miller said of his upcoming album. “It’s a moment where fans feel understood, a space where we’re all together and present for that same emotional escape. I’m looking forward to welcoming everyone to this experience, especially at Sphere.”
Miller is not the first dance music artist to plan a multiple-day run at the Sphere. At the turn of the year, Anyma also performed a six-show album support series called The End Of Genesys, and then he kept the party going with four more shows with the same concept in February and March.
Pre-sale tickets for the Odyssey shows goes live on Tuesday, September 23 at 10am PT, with general on-sale starting on September 26 at 10am PT. Sign up for pre-sale access on the Illenium website.
