Jack’s Mannequin‘s debut album Everything in Transit (the one with such nostalgia-inducing songs as “Dark Blue,” “The Mixed Tape,” and “Holiday From Real”) is about to turn 20, and they’re giving it a 20th anniversary reissue for the occasion. We have an exclusive “baby blue & bone smash” vinyl variant, limited to 300 copies and available for pre-order in the BV shop while they last.
“Transit was more than a record to me,” Andrew McMahon says. “It was a window into one of the most chaotic, heartbreaking and beautiful times in my life. I had so much to lose and somehow I was more fearless than I’d ever been or will ever be. Twenty years later I still love these songs as much as I did when they came to life in the speakers for the very first time.”
Along with the reissue, they also put out an orchestral EP featuring string-laden versions of five of the album’s tracks, and you can stream that below.
McMahon has also revived the project for its first tour in nearly a decade this year, which continues into November. See all dates below.
