For years, Donald Trump has boasted about acing cognitive tests, including during a recent trip to Walter Reed Medical Center, where he also underwent an MRI for undisclosed reasons. Now, Jimmy Kimmel has offered the president a chance to put his mental acuity on public display for the entire world to see: the late-night host says he’s willing to host and produce a live TV IQ test between Trump and two Democratic rivals, Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jasmine Crockett, whom Trump has previously described as “low IQ” individuals.
“I believe it would be the greatest television show of all time,” Kimmel declared during Tuesday’s episode of his ABC program. “I was going to call it Grandpa Don’s Dementia Bowl, but I feel he wouldn’t want it on the trophy. So instead we’ll call it, The James C. Kimmel Cognitive Aptitude and Mental Brilliance Invitational.”
“This is not a joke, I am very serious about making this happen, Mr. President,” Kimmel added. “Think of the ratings: they’ll be bigger than the night I came back after you tried to have me canceled.”
