Joe Rogan was just a tad off when claiming that the UFC Freedom 250 at the White House drew more viewers than the Super Bowl.
Per official ratings released by Paramount on Thursday night, the event averaged 8.2 million viewers across the US and Latin America, with its total number of viewers reaching 17 million.
UFC is touting those numbers as a major success, marking the biggest “exclusive live event in Paramount+ history.” However, they fall well short of Rogan’s previous claim that the event was “one of the most watched sporting events in the history of the world,” which he estimated had upwards of 150 million viewers — a number that would have eclipsed Super Bowl viewership.
