Josh Freese Shares 10 Possible Reasons He Got Booted from Foo Fighters

Drummer Josh Freese seems to be taking his surprise ouster from Foo Fighters in stride, today sharing a good-humored list to Instagram speculating the reasons why he got the boot. Some of the explanations seem a bit more plausible than others (“Metronome-like precision behind the kit deemed soulless”; “Two words: polyrhythms”, “Could only name one Fugazi song”) than others (“Never even once tried growing a beard”, “Once whistled ‘My Hero’ for a week solid on tour”), but seeing as we’ve yet to hear anything from Foo Fighters’ camp, who knows the actual reason.
