Journey have announced a farewell tour beginning with an extensive 60-show first leg in North America that will take up most of the first half of 2026. Appropriately, the outing has been dubbed the “Final Frontier Tour.”
The long goodbye begins February 28th in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and currently runs all the way through a July 2nd show in Laredo, Texas. The outing includes stops in Pittsburgh, Montreal, Memphis, Lexington, Kansas City, Austin, Tampa, Atlantic City, Knoxville, Buffalo, Cincinnati, and dozens more cities.
Various pre-sales for the tour, including one for Citi card members, are set to start Tuesday, November 11th at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster, with a general ticket on-sale following on Friday, November 14th at 10 a.m. local time.
A press release and accompanying tour poster both note that the tour is being billed as “A Special Evening With,” meaning that there will likely be no opening act. The band promises to perform all their biggest hits, including “Don’t Stop Believin,” “Any Way You Want It,” and “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart),” as part of a celebration of “legacy, love and the fans who made it all possible.”
Founding guitarist Neal Schon stated, “This tour is our heartfelt thank-you to the fans who’ve been with us every step of the way — through every song, every era, every high and low. We’re pulling out all the stops with a brand-new production — the hits, the deep cuts, the energy, the spectacle. It’s a full-circle celebration of the music that’s brought us all together.”
Added long-time member Jonathan Cain, “It’s been an incredible ride. We’ve shared our music with millions and this tour is about gratitude, connection, and one last chance to feel that magic together. We wouldn’t want it any other way.”
Schon and Cain will be joined by lead singer Arnel Pineda, keyboardist-vocalist Jason Derlatka, drummer-vocalist Deen Castronovo, and bassist Todd Jensen. Back in October, there was some confusion that Cain might have stepped away from Journey for his continued ministry work. However, Cain later clarified that he would embark on one more tour with the band.
