Justin Bieber reflected on his own personal challenges in a candid new post to Instagram on Monday. Expressing frustration with the pressure to “fix” himself, the 31-year-old pop star wrote, “Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?” He then acknowledged feeling broken and dealing with anger issues, noting that despite years of effort to grow and conform to others’ expectations, it has often left him feeling more tired and angry.
Bieber credited his Christian faith as a grounding force, stating, “Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others.” He concluded the message, writing, “Because honestly I’m exhausted with thinking about myself lately. Aren’t you?”
Earlier this year, Matt Belloni of Puck News reported that Bieber was eyeing a musical comeback — driven primarily by financial motivations.
