And just like that, Justin Bieber dropped his seventh studio album, SWAG.
The new album album, released via Def Jam, was announced just yesterday (July 10th) via billboards posted in various cities around the world, including Los Angeles, New York City and Reykjavik, Iceland. Bieber shared a host of videos and photos on his Instagram account, including some that revealed the album’s 21-song tracklist.
SWAG is the first new Bieber album since his 2021 full-length, Justice. Guest contributors include Lil B, Dijon, Gunna, mk.gee, Daniel Caesar, Sexxy Redd, Druski, and Cash Cobain.
The album arrives during a tough year for the pop star; just last month, he took to Instagram to report feeling “broken,” writing, “Don’t you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?”
That admission followed a Bieber representative issuing a statement denying that the pop star was ever a victim of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who at the time was embroiled in his highly publicized trial for racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
In February of this year, Bieber had a representative announce that the singer was not on drugs, responding to fans’ concerns after photos surfaced showing him with dark circles under his eyes and looking unsteady on his feet.
Bieber’s return was not a complete surprise, as it was reported back in January 2025 that he was set to make a musical comeback. The return to music was in part inspired by the star needing money to pay back a sizable debt to concert promoter AEG, the result of a cancelled world tour in 2022 for health reasons.
Last September, we learned that Bieber had tapped indie rocker Mk.gee to work on new music, and help him find a new sound.
In the time since the pop star released a new album, having a child with wife Hailey Bieber just last year. In 2023, he split with longtime music manager, Scooter Braun.
