Detailing his new offering, Khan explains: "‘Personally’ is an ode to the paradoxical hopefulness and hopelessness of falling in love. I'm very happy to have Amber (The Japanese House) singing with me on this one."
Alongside today’s single release, Khan shares a video made in collaboration with director Billy Howard Price, featuring a collection of his own photographs from the last six years touring with The Japanese House.
"Kamran and I have been talking about doing a music video together for years, and over time we’ve discussed a wide range of varied, surreal, boring, non sensical & implausible concepts. It feels fitting then that our first proper collaboration together, ‘Personally’, has taken the shape of a cut-up & hand-made collage of many disparate ideas, playing out on top of each other all at once; a kind of moving mood board with Kamran at its centre, navigating the layers. It’s like John Baldessari having a panic attack in a stationary shop and I’m glad that we finally made it happen." Price adds.
