KATSEYE have dropped cryptic teasers, which appear to be hinting at new music from the girl group.
On April 15, KATSEYE released a teaser image featuring a glitched out version of their logo. It’s captioned “loading…”, and was released alongside a link to their website. Meanwhile, the website itself features a teaser clip that’s a montage of their best moments from the past year since they made their debut.

A day prior to the teaser, KATSEYE also shared a video clip where they looked back on their debut EP ‘SIS (Soft Is Strong)’. “Reminiscing on the last year of SIS & all the memories we’ve made,” KATSEYE wrote.
“From our debut to performing on stage for the first time and everything between, thank you for your incredible support,” the girl group added, telling fans that they “can’t wait for you to see what’s next”.

KATSEYE made their debuted last August with ‘SIS (Soft Is Strong)’, which featured the singles ‘Debut’ and ‘Touch’. In a four-star review of the record, NME’s Mika Chen called the EP a “surprisingly cohesive release that largely captures the group’s enormous potential” but criticised the short length of its tracks.
KATSEYE were also selected as one of the emerging essential artists to watch in 2025 for the NME 100. NME had also named ‘Touch’ as one of the 50 best songs of 2024: “It’s one thing to make an earworm, and another to transform a pop song into something akin to muscle memory. That’s what K-pop does best [and] KATSEYE proved that they’re scholars of K-pop’s most important lessons.”
