Kim Kardashian has revealed that she has been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, shown in a clip for the new season of her reality show.
A preview of the new season of The Kardashians was shared by The Today Show, during which footage was shown of the star undergoing an MRI scan, and revealing to her family “There was a little aneurysm.” She followed up with the doctor’s reasoning for the diagnosis: “They were like, ‘Just stress.’”
Kardashian later expressed her distress at the situation, saying: “Last night, I was like ‘Why the fuck is this happening?’”
Season seven of The Kardashians debuted yesterday (October 23) and will continue for 10 episodes, concluding on Christmas Day. The show is available on Hulu in the US, and Disney+ in the UK.
The clip also showed her discussing her relationship with Ye, also known as Kanye West, to whom she was married between 2014 and 2022. The couple share four children together: North who is aged 12, Saint (nine), Chicago (seven) and Psalm (six). “I’m happy it’s over,” she said in the clip. “My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.”
In a controversial interview in March, Ye said regarding his shared parenthood with Kardashian: “That was my fault. I didn’t want to have children with this person after the first two months of being with her. But that wasn’t God’s plan.”
He then went on to say that he “doesn’t own” the names and likeness of his children, claiming he lost control during their divorce. “I don’t got the name or likeness ownership, or at least 50-50, with my kids,” he added. “So how is it joint custody? My kids are celebrities and I don’t have a say.”
In April, he seemingly revealed he had split from partner Bianca Censori in a new song.
